The only change within the magazine were a few grammatical errors and an addition to the cover. The cover now has an issue date, "December, 2018." This was added to keep some similarities between our magazines.

The magazine has undergone very few, but necessary, changes. The table of contents underwent the most changes, having its format changed, making it more appealing. This gave more insight as to what articles were to be in the magazine and gives more information about the features. The cover just had the changes to the feature font and title effects. The article pages has some text and a photo added, and the paragraphs were justified.

Many different types of technologies were in this project. Our main asset was our computers. Microsoft Office programs, like Word and Excel, were also used in the pre-production stages of the magazine since we were creating layouts for out pages and writing out our article rough draft before creating our actual first draft. All of the editing to the magazine was done through Adobe programs like InDesign and Photoshop, which are top of the line programs to produce a magazine. Another piece of tech that was necessary for us was a camera. Cameras were what made out magazines come to life, since photos are one of the most essential parts of a magazine. To make the photos look more professional, another Adobe program that was used was Lightroom. This made the photos from sports events look top notch. Then for uploading pictures, Google Drive came in handy so I wouldn't have to worry about saving space on my flash drive or if something had happened to it. Also, my phone surprisingly came

My production skills definitely became better during this project. I learned to use new Adobe software, such as InDesign. Having previous experience with Adobe programs, such as Photoshop, helped make the process an easier task, but I had to learn some new techniques in order to fit the conventions of other sports magazines. For instance, learning to justify text and place them in a certain layout that fits that of a magazine. Or, learning to export certain at certain resolutions so that the magazine is of high quality. Another production skill that was improved was communication. Since this was a group project, communication was one of our biggest factors in creating our magazine. I had to learn to work with the group to take everyone's ideas and come up with an overall plan that would incorporate everything we had come up with. Also, learning to work as a journalist. The process of creating an article and learning to gather information so I could write about my topic was new to m

By informing our audience of the latest sports news, this will want them to keep up with each publication. Then by having the information as local, the makes locals want to read about what is happening the southern Florida, since it's their home. Also, including a featured player on the cover engages with the audience. Especially, within schools, this makes teenagers want to engage more with school athletics when they have a star athlete feature on the covers of magazines. Some other parts of the magazine that some people may not notice aids in making the reader engage is the design of the text. The text was intentionally made to stand out with the beveled effect and drop shadow, which draws the readers eyes directly to it. Also, a specific color palate was used so that the entire magazine

Our magazine, 'SoFlo Sports', uses more of the conventions of sports magazines then it does challenge them. All the aspects of the cover, like the cover photo, uses the convention of putting a star athlete as the subject on the cover. Also, articles featuring every aspect of an athlete's lifestyle and career can be found in these articles that are in this magazine. The only considerable convention that challenges most magazines would be the who the audience is targeted towards. Most magazines are made for an entire state or the entire country, versus our's which is meant to be read by those in specific region of Florida. Our product does not do much to represent different social groups or issues. It does feature a wide variety of different social groups of they are performing well within their sport and there is no bias into the decision to feature them. This does not mean it couldn't lead to any future changes to focus more on different social groups, such as havin
